The clarine is the bell hung around the necks of cows heading to the high pastures. It's a large bronze or brass bell, weighing up to 6kg. As you climb the miniature Alps, ring the clarines yourself! Shake the bells, listen to the different sounds, and you become part of an ancient tradition of transhumance.
