France boasts a rich architectural heritage: castles, cathedrals, typical villages, art works, and industrial monuments.
A Place of Reflection and Memory
At the heart of the Normandy landing beaches, the American Cemetery in Colleville-sur-Mer overlooks Omaha Beach. This sanctuary from the 1944 landings is home to over 9,000 Carrara marble graves, holding the remains of 9,387 soldiers who fell in battle. A chapel, a memorial, and a garden of the missing complement the site.
France has granted this territory in perpetuity to the American government.

At France Miniature, the model precisely replicates the original site. Among the multitude of crosses marking each grave, a few Stars of Davis honor the memory of Jewish soldiers who fell in Normandy.
